[KiniNews] After months of escalating tensions with ally PAS, Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin today hinted that his party could be on its way out of Perikatan Nasional (PN).
Despite wishing PN "all the best", Muhyiddin criticised coalition chairperson Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar for unilaterally entering into an electoral pact with BN while sidelining Bersatu from seat negotiations.
"Just because PN under PAS leadership seeks to form an alliance with Umno - a party that still has ties with Pakatan Harapan, including DAP - PAS has severed ties with Bersatu, sidelining the Malay party that I lead," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said the party will not leave Pakatan Harapan and will remain with the coalition until the end of the unity government's term.
