Description
Republican state Rep. Kevin Steele launches his first TV ad in Florida’s 14th Congressional District after putting $2.5 million of his own money into the race. The ad, titled “Forged,” opens with attacks on national Democrats, warning about “socialists,” “radicals,” and “open border extremists,” while showing images of Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gavin Newsom, and Donald Trump after the 2024 assassination attempt. The spot then pivots to Steele, presenting him as a self-made, “America First” conservative who cut taxes, cut spending, backed police, and supported deportations, closing with the tagline that he is “forged in Tampa, ready for Washington.”
The Jim Heath Channel will continue adding 2026 campaign ads from competitive races and major ballot fights across the country throughout the year. Check back often as the campaign unfolds.
