United Democracy Project, the super PAC affiliated with AIPAC, released “Proven Fighter” in support of Rep. Haley Stevens in Michigan’s competitive Democratic Senate primary. The ad focuses on Stevens’s work during President Barack Obama’s auto rescue effort, presenting her as a fighter for Michigan workers and the state’s auto industry. Although AIPAC is best known for its pro-Israel advocacy, the ad does not mention Israel and instead centers on Stevens’s economic record and connection to Michigan manufacturing.
