Namaste y'all!
K-POP may have started as Korea's own pop music industry meant for Koreans primarily, it has now blown out of proportion with the Hallyu Wave and now; K-Pop is a GLOBAL phenomenon.
Carrying the Euro-American legacy of pop music forward with its own flashy and high-energy twists, KPop today has etched its own identity and is nowadays really at the heights of its popularity. And while the Korean language is an integral part of K-Pop, plenty of artists record their songs in different languages for maximum transnational musical success. Sometimes, they also curate unique songs for a particular region of the world in their language, which ensured the global trajectory of this genre.
Hence, for this video (inspired primarily by the bops in the movie KPop Demon Hunters), I have included KPop numbers from several regions of the world - mostly translated versions of original Korean numbers, but in some cases, also covers of non-Korean songs, provided they have a distinct KPop influence in it (either through including Korean language or producing the song with the typical infectious KPop beats and dance-friendly rhythms).
