This is the third and final round of our landfill hog control project—and it’s packed with action from start to finish.
What started as a single daytime sighting turned into a full-scale operation. Over the course of months, we tracked, patterned, and ultimately removed an entire sounder—including the infamous “Ol’ Spot”, a boar that had evaded us for over 4 months.
From sows and piglets feeding in broad daylight to massive groups hitting the bait site, this project shows exactly what it takes to successfully manage wild hog populations in high-pressure environments like landfills.
