Description
This video looks at whether recruiting child soldiers is something that has a precedent in Islam or whether terrorist groups like Islamic State (ISIS) have taken liberty with commands in the Quran and hadith.
I said at the start of the series that I would be as fair as I can and that I wouldn't necessarily confirm that ISIS is acting 100 percent in line with Islamic doctrine for everything they do.
This is one case where I think ISIS can be called out by mainstream Muslim scholars for good reason - at least for using children who are clearly prepubescent.

This video is part 12 of a 15-part series looking into the actions of the Islamic State militant group and comparing them to the teachings of the Islamic faith based on an honest reading of the Quran, its interpretations by major reputable Muslim scholars, the hadiths (sayings of Mohammed) and other Islamic sources.
