Paul records that in the course of his ministry, he had faced starvation and dehydration, he’d willingly skipped meals for the sake of spending more time in ministry, he’d experienced the extremes of the weather without sufficient clothing to protect him — and through all of that, he’d stuck to the decision to keep going.
Sometimes when difficulties come, we just have to make that same decision and say, “I may not have the things I need right now, but even so, I will press on without them, because I have a mission to complete!”
