BMW is investing approximately €2 billion in vehicle production and battery manufacturing to prepare its German facilities for the next generation of the BMW 3 Series. The eighth-generation BMW 3 Series marks another important chapter in the model's history. Since production began in 1975, approximately 18 million BMW 3 Series vehicles have been produced worldwide, including around 15 million in Germany.
