The Mercedes-Benz VLE is the first vehicle based on the company’s new modular and scalable van architecture. To prepare for its production, the Vitoria plant was extensively modernized with a new body shop, a fully flexible paint shop and an upgraded assembly hall.
The flexible production line can build the VLE alongside the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Vito and eVito according to customer demand.
