Description
Originally slated to be the intro theme to Freddy & Friends, this track is what gave the series its title. It would have played at the end of every volume, along with a fully animated intro sequence. The track may be reused when the series is brought back as an original property, though completely reproduced and perhaps rewritten a little to not be so repetitive.
During the production of Freddy & Friends, the initial intro theme was going to be a cover of “Never Be Alone” by Shadrow, giving the series a vibe akin to Gravity Falls. As the tone of the series changed, the intro theme needed to be changed as well. When drafting a trailer theme for a potential game tie-in to Freddy & Friends, this track was born and repurposed into the series’ main theme. The initial track was more epic and emotional, but was remixed to have more of a Stranger Things feel and later adding elements from the soundtrack of the FNaF movie, using a blend of organic and mechanical sounds with a vintage synthwave basis.
