I Ripped Out My Garden — Was It Worth It?

Next Level Gardening Review 1 months ago

Description

After four years, my old wooden raised beds were starting to show their age. The boards were splitting, the beds were shallow, and I was ready to rethink the entire garden.

So I ripped them out and started over with Vego Garden Metal Raised Beds https://bit.ly/4hAXyOp

Vego Garden supplied the new raised beds for this project with the understanding that I would give an honest review after actually growing in them. And after a full season—including weeks of 90+ degree heat and several days over 100—I finally feel like I can tell you what I really think.

In this video, I’ll show you why I replaced the old beds, how I redesigned the space, what it was like building and filling the new garden, how the beds performed through an extreme summer, and whether I think the cost is worth it.

I’ll also tackle some of the biggest concerns people have about metal raised beds, including heat, depth, durability, and price.

If you want to see the full garden transformation from the beginning, I’ve documented the build over on The Gardens at SkyRidge.

Would I do it again? You’ll have to watch to the end.
