Two years ago, my B-58 Hustler project ended in disaster. The crash destroyed months of work, but somehow, the four Schubeler EDF fans survived (mostly). They've sat untouched since then…until now. In this video, I give those fans a second chance by installing them into my Freewing SR-71 Blackbird (A-12 Oxcart). These aren’t just any EDFs — Schubeler builds some of the highest-performance electric ducted fans in the world, and pushing them into the SR-71 meant risking everything on this flight.
