This episode is all about facing a fear I didn’t expect to have: working with people. For a long time, my creative life has been pretty quiet and very solo. Just me, my camera, and whatever familiar space I could hide in. Somewhere along the way, the idea of collaborating or talking to strangers started feeling way scarier than it used to.
So I decided it was time to shake things up.
This chapter pulls me out of my usual bubble and drops me into a weekend packed with new faces, strange locations, and moments that made me pause and question every social skill I thought I still had. From random shoots on the road to navigating one of the wildest creative events of the year, this became a crash course in reconnecting with people… and with the version of myself who used to love creating with others.
If the first episode was about showing up, this one is about showing up next to someone else. And honestly, remembering that collabing can actually be fun, chaotic, and really good for my brain. If you’ve ever felt rusty around people or out of practice with your own creativity, I hope this resonates.
