Okay you guys I have a confession to make. This year for the very first time in my life... I am doing colored lights on my Christmas tree. I KNOW. I know! 😂🎄
Here is what happened. I went to market this year and colored lights were absolutely EVERYWHERE and they were so beautiful and so well done that I just could not resist anymore. And not just any colored lights either. I am custom making my own strings in the most perfect sweet and spicy color combination that ties in beautifully with my home sweet home, sugared fruit theme this year. Think warm, rich, nostalgic and completely magical. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. ✨
And the candle trend this year... oh my goodness. Candles were so incredibly well represented at market and in the most beautiful ways. Flocked candles that look like they have been dusted with fresh snow, candles ON the tree which I am absolutely also doing this year, and the most gorgeous combinations of textures and wax finishes everywhere you looked. It all felt so warm and so intentional and so much more elevated than what we have been seeing in Christmas decor for a while now. 🕯️
