Description
🛞 Pull up alongside the car in front, leaving about an open car door's width between your vehicles.
🛞 Select reverse gear, perform a 360-degree observation of your surroundings, and ensure the rear of your car passes the rear of the parked car before you start your turn.
🛞 A helpful tip is to use a reference point at the 2 o'clock position (e.g., a specific landmark like a tree). Once that reference point is in front of you, stop the car.
🛞 Straighten the steering wheel, and as you begin to turn it back to the right, use your blind spot mirror to gauge your distance from the kerb, aiming for roughly the width of a drain.
🛞 Carefully steer into your position, straightening the car once aligned, and come to a stop. Finally, secure the handbrake and select neutral to indicate to the examiner that you have completed the manoeuvre successfully.
