✅ Position your car so that your reference point is aligned with the bay lines.
✅ Move back slowly, maintaining full lock to guide the car into the bay. Constantly scan the area, checking your door mirrors frequently to ensure you have an even gap on both sides of the vehicle.
✅ Use your small blind-spot mirrors and observe the vehicles parked across from you to determine exactly when to stop. If the front of your car is still sticking out, don't worry, a small, controlled adjustment (a "shunt") can help you get the position perfect.
✅ Once you are satisfied with your position and the car is straight, secure your vehicle with the handbrake and neutral before resting your feet.
