Description
How to restore your headlights like new after destroying them with the rust-oleum wipe new kit. I threw the kit in the garbage after they put a terrible film on my headlights and started from scratch the old fashion way. With a little elbow grease and the right sandpapers, compound, and polish I had my headlights looking new again.
The rust-oleum kit came with a ceramic wipe pad after you completed the restoration. The wipe pad actually left a film that left the headlights looking terrible. I would NOT use this kit. It is hard to apply the wipe pad without making a mistake. I would go to another kit or do it the old fashion way of using 600 grit, 1500 grit, 3000 grit, 5000 grit, compound, polish, and a ceramic coating or paint protection film.
