How to Remove a Wall Hung Bathroom Sink & Replace the Faucet Easy DIY Guide
Easy step-by-step guide on how to remove a wall-hung bathroom sink, replace the faucet and pop-up drain, then reinstall everything cleanly. This older American Standard wall-hung sink was heavy and needed an upgrade — watch the full process so you can do it safely on your own.

In this video we cover:
• Shutting off the water and protecting the floor
• Removing the P-trap and supply lines
• Cutting the caulk and lifting the sink off the wall hanger
• Disassembling the old faucet and pop-up assembly
• Installing the new faucet and pop-up with plumber’s putty and pipe dope
• Re-hanging the sink and reconnecting the supplies and drain
• Final leak check and aerator flush

This method works great for wall-hung sinks and is often easier than trying to work under a vanity in a tight space. Older wall-hung sinks can be heavy — get a helper if you can.

Tools & materials used:
• Channel lock / slip-joint pliers
• Adjustable wrench
• Basin wrench (very helpful for tight recessed areas)
• Utility knife
• Small bucket
• Plumber’s putty
