Method 1:
1. Press the Windows key, type Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security, and open it.
2. On the left panel, click Inbound Rules.
3. On the right panel, click New Rule...
4. Select Port and click Next.
5. Choose TCP or UDP depending on what you need.
6. In Specific local ports, enter the port number (e.g., 8080), then click Next.
7. Choose Allow the connection, then click Next.
8. Check Domain, Private, and Public, then click Next.
9. Name the rule (e.g., “My Custom Port”) and click Finish.
Method 2:
1. Open Control Panel and go to System and Security.
2. Click Windows Defender Firewall.
3. On the left, click Advanced settings.
4. In the Advanced Security window, click Inbound Rules.
5. Click New Rule on the right side.
6. Select Port, then click Next.
7. Choose between TCP or UDP, and enter the port number.
8. Select Allow the connection, then click Next.
9. Select the network types, then click Next.
10. Enter a name for your rule, then click Finish.
