Making An Elegant, Tall Walnut Drinks Cabinet!
In this video I make a custom drinks cabinet/shelves. This is a redesigned version of a classic etageres. The first version had three open shelves, this one is much taller with five shelves and an enclosed storage unit on the bottom. The legs are made from three square spindles that are separated apart to give an open and airy design. The cabinet has two doors with Brusso pivot hinges and a ball locking latch. The piece is constructed with grooves and floating tenons and is made from black American walnut and finished with Rubio Monocoat oil plus 2c and top coat of sheen plus.
