Here's how to get 90 in PT speaking in less than 2 minutes. Let's go. When you start the speaking section, the first thing you're going to see is a microphone testing screen. You can just speak couple times loud and quiet to make sure the audio sounds exactly the same. If there's any issue, put your hand up, ask the examiner to help you. Afterwards, you're going to have a mandatory introduction. It is not scored. It's just for them to have a sample of your boards. The read aloud. You have 35 to 40 seconds to prepare for this text on the screen. When the recording starts, all you have to do is read it back to the computer fluently from start to finish without adding extra words, skipping words, and without losing your flow. After that, we're going to have repeat sentences. You're going to have 10 to 12 sentences that are going to play only one time. You listen and after 2 seconds, the recording starts and you need to repeat it exactly as it is. This gives you points not only in the speaking section, but also in the listening section. So, it's very important. Afterwards, we have described image. Describe image is the number one most important question in the exam nowadays. It gives you a total of 15% of your final score. This gives you points only in the speaking section. You're going to have four or five or six different pictures that look like this. 25 seconds to prepare for them. And then you have to speak for it fluently for up to 40 seconds describing what you see. Make sure you're not following old YouTube videos and using the same template again and again and again. Otherwise, you're going to get failed by the human assessor. Afterwards, we're going to have retail lecture. You're going to have an audio for about a minute. You're going to take notes 10 seconds to prepare and then the recording starts after which you have to retell back to the computer what was spoken in the audio. So you're retelling the lecture back to the computer. Same thing here. You cannot have set templates here. You need to change it up. You need to use more natural flexible human language pattern. Afterwards, we're going to have answer short questions. These are very easy. They ask you five or six very basic questions. You need to give an answer which is one word or a couple of words. And then we have the two new questions in the exam. Summarize group discussion which is basically retail lecture on steroids. You can have a longer audio of up to two or three or even four minutes. You're taking notes in a conversation between three different speakers and then they have to retell for up to two minutes what this audio was about. And the final question in the speaking section is respond to a situation. So they give you a short scenario, one or two sentences like somebody forgot their notebook at home and they have to speak to the professor to ask for an extension. You have to reply to it 10 seconds to prepare after which you have to speak up to 40 seconds responding to whatever question they ask you. This one is pretty straightforward. It only gives you points in the speaking section. And the most important thing in your speaking is oral fluency. So you have to speak continuously. Even if you trip up, forget something or mess up, just keep going, keep speaking. Don't worry if something doesn't make full sense. Focus on your fluency and continuity. Good luck. And I'm sure if you practice and do some mock tests and different exercises on different platforms, you can get 90 in the speaking section as well.
