I have a pretty big channel announcement and a new fishing partner to introduce. Bogster is getting older and has been struggling more with the summer heat, so after years of looking for the right dog, we adopted a pit bull from the Huntsville Animal Shelter and took him out on the boat for his first bass fishing trip on Lake Guntersville. He still needs a name, so drop your best suggestion in the comments and help us name the newest member of the Mikeybalzz fishing family. Along the way, we caught several quality largemouth bass, put together a 20-pound bag using a Coike Urchin style bait and tested whether this rescue dog has what it takes to become a real fishing dog.
