Most anglers fish a Chatterbait by simply casting and reeling, but tournament anglers often use a much different retrieve that can trigger more bites from pressured bass. In this video, I break down the little-known technique called "worming" a Chatterbait, showing you how to fish a bladed jig more like a worm or jig by dragging it through grass, rock, shell beds and other cover. You'll learn the retrieve, rod and reel setup, line choice, trailer selection and the small details that make this one of my favorite bass fishing techniques for tournament fishing, late summer bass fishing, and anywhere bass are relating to cover on your local lake.
