Fishing 400 FEET deep, battling strong currents, and getting absolutely NO bites on the jig. 🎣🌊 So we decided to try something different… but would this unusual setup actually work?
Instead of relying on the jig alone, we used a lure that could double as a sinker while attaching bait to the setup. The goal was to get our bait down into the deep water without letting the current ruin everything.
The jig itself didn't get us a bite, but the bait had a different story to tell. Suddenly, we landed a GROUPER! 👀
Sometimes, catching fish isn't about using the most expensive gear or the fanciest technique. It's about adapting when your original plan isn't working.
