The new Pure 600 just landed, and I show a full DIY install on a Gen-2 B58 two-port. Pure positions this unit narrowly (e.g., 2020 Supra), but with the approach in this video I demonstrate how it fits any B58 two-port head using clean, repeatable steps. No tuning or dyno here—this is an install-focused first look, with a follow-up results video coming next.

**********This a condensed version of a video I just uploaded where people complained of the audio. The audio isn't great on this either but it isn't harsh, just a little muffled at times.

BTW this stage 1 Pure 600 also recently came out for the Gen 1 B58.**********

The turbo is currently only available at Pure Turbos website.

Affiliate link to the installation hardware mentioned along with the parts to convert from a 2 port inlet to 6 port on all gen 2 two port models:

The link contains some hardware from my B58 swap series. Scroll to the bottom for the turbo parts.

What I cover

Box contents, gasket/hardware overview, and what actually transfers to a two-port B58

Removal and install sequence with the exact tweaks that make the fitment work

Actuator/wastegate alignment, compressor outlet/inlet orientation, and bracket solutions

Oil and coolant line routing that clears heat shields and nearby hardware

Priming, first start, leak checks, and post-install inspection

Why this is the smart B58 turbo choice (power path without a mod snowball)

Applies to these two-port B58s
M340i / M440i, 540i, Z4 M40i, X3/X4 M40i (and similar Gen-2 two-port applications). If your car is two-port B58, the method here shows you how to make this turbo package fit cleanly.

What’s next
A follow-up video with dyno data and tuning notes (boost targets, shaping WGDC, simple fueling path) so you can see how the “smart build” idea plays out.

There’s a members-only extended cut with extra install detail and side notes, plus a Level 2 exclusive on my MG1 CPU-swap bench session (HSM state differences) where I verify read/write on the bench.
