Description
The FitBit Edge makes a compelling argument that a dedicated fitness tracker does not need to resemble a miniature smartphone strapped to your wrist to deliver serious biometric data. By paring back the bulky bezel in favor of a low-profile aluminum chassis and a remarkably flush sensor array, the hardware stays completely out of the way until you actually need to check your pace or recovery metrics. The display is crisp enough to read mid-stride in direct sunlight, while the redesigned clasp finally eliminates the mid-run adjustments that plagued earlier generations. Full GPS accuracy and multi-day battery stress tests are currently underway to see if the internal endurance matches the refined exterior. Let us know in the comments whether you prefer a streamlined tracker that disappears on the wrist or a full-sized smartwatch with every notification imaginable.
