Stay at least five metres from the waters edge, crocodiles can charge forward several metres in the blink of an eye.
No natural body of water is 100% safe from crocodiles, but you must be extra vigilant in the build up and wet season as there is a higher presence of crocodiles in the warmer months.
UPDATE: Tyla tells us that since the video went up she has been thoroughly lectured by her mum about her distance from the water's edge. Great job mum!
