Description
Final Cut Pro 12.3 completely changed the Match Color tool, making it far more powerful and useful than it was before. In this video, I’ll show you how the new AI-powered Match Color works, how to fine-tune the results, and how you can use it to quickly match cameras or recreate almost any color grade.
I’ll show you how I use Match Color to get footage from my iPhone and Lumix S5 Mark II looking consistent, then take it a step further by recreating the distinctive looks from Breaking Bad and Ozark.
Match Color still isn’t a replacement for proper color grading, but for quick-turnaround projects, social media videos, or simply getting a solid starting point, it can save a ton of time.
If you use Final Cut Pro, this is one of those smaller 12.3 updates you definitely shouldn’t overlook.
