Hello everyone.
I've often been asked to post some videos about a Felted Piano, and well, I think this library is very well sampled, because it gives the feeling of a real upright felt piano, which is not easy to achieve.
These instruments are less often used for jazz pieces or rarely.
They are usually instruments for creating cinematic ambient music. As you will surely have noticed, they have a very warm sound. This is because the hammer does not strike directly on the string but rather on the wool felt, and this eliminates the metallic sound. Furthermore, the long sustain coming from the soundboard and the warm, non-metallic sound make it a dreamy piano, and therefore a Felt Piano.
