Description
In this spotlight interview with RealAgriculture's Shaun Haney, Bourgault's agronomy manager, Curtis de Gooijer, discusses how the company utilizes its 2,000-acre farm in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan, to perform agronomic trials. Bourgault uses this land to test equipment and refine seed and fertilizer placement recommendations, historically focusing on spring canola and spring wheat. To better serve new U.S. markets—such as Colorado, Kansas, and Montana—Bourgault is expanding its agronomic trials southward. They aim to test crops like winter wheat, winter canola, and soybeans while showcasing their heavy-duty equipment and safe fertilizer placement capabilities.
