Dr. Nasrin Rouzati was the keynote speaker at Zaytuna College’s 2026 Commencement. Dr. Rouzati, who is the author of Trials and Tribulations in the Qur’an: A Mystical Theodicy and associate professor of Religious Studies a Manhattan University, shared wisdom for living a meaningful life in challenging times. Based in Berkeley, California, and rooted in the Islamic tradition, Zaytuna College strives to produce principled leaders of knowledge and conscience for generations to come.
