What Is Transformational Education? A Zaytuna College Grad Reflects

In an era of transactional education—learning primarily for the sake of earning—Zaytuna remains committed to transformational education, in keeping with our mission as a classical liberal arts institution. For that reason, we continually invest in the success of our graduates and in the cultivation of their humanity. We celebrate not only the accomplishments of our alumni, but also who they have become: ethical leaders whose meaningful contributions serve the common good, and discerning individuals capable of distinguishing truth from falsehood in an age of widespread distortion and confusion.

As we give thanks for these blessings, we pray for our alumni to become the kinds of human beings and citizens our world so deeply needs.
