Does My Hair Transplant Donor Area Look Overharvested? 😭

Description

Does my hair transplant donor area look overharvested, or am I still seeing changes from the recovery process? 😭

After my FUE hair transplant, I noticed that a few sections of my donor area appeared thinner. Overharvesting can cause visible thinning and patchiness, but temporary donor area shedding and natural characteristics such as hair density, caliber and length can also affect how much scalp is visible.

My natural hair is fine and low density, so I am documenting the area over time rather than confirming permanent overharvesting without a professional examination.

This video shares my personal hair transplant recovery experience and is not a medical diagnosis.

Did your donor area look thinner after FUE, and did its appearance improve with time? Do you have liw, medium or high density hair?
