As creatives, our art is our first love. We get these blinders on, grinding to build a career, and easily forget to live the life that's happening outside the studio. I was deep in that tunnel vision with deadlines, releases, the whole thing... when a single phone call forced my focus to shift. My fiancée needed emergency surgery, and in that moment, music wasn't the priority.
This video is about that hard lesson. It's for any artist wrestling with the need to balance life and creative work, or who feels the creeping sense of creative burnout from being too locked-in.
