説明
Following suit from the quintet's acclaimed debut EP, initial writing and recording for the album started at home, allowing the band their own time and space to develop these sounds. Din Of Celestial Birds then flocked to No Studio in Manchester to work with producer and engineer Joe Clayton (Pijn, Leeched) who is sought after for his signature ear for capturing spacious sonic soundscapes. Joe Clayton has recorded acclaimed albums by Ithaca, Mastiff, Crywank, Dawnwalker, Wallowing, Earth Moves and more, always unearthing richly detailed and dynamic sound design. Din Of Celestial Birds showcase a great knack for contrast across these 45 minutes, pairing contemplative arpeggios with chunky metal riffs, blistering high energy rock passages with graceful atmospheres, and waves of joy with moments of sadness. The Night Is For Dreamers stands as a remarkably accomplished debut record, boasting a sound that shoots for the skies, yet is rooted from a humble nest.
FFO: MONO, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, MAYBESHEWILL.
The Night Is For Dreamers will be released on CD and digital formats on August 11th (with the vinyl to follow later) through A Cheery Wave Records. Since the acclaim of their 2019 debut EP, Din Of Celestial Birds have worked fast and hard to grow their spectacular live show and have performed with the likes of Respire, Dystopian Future Movies, Hundred Year Old Man, Telepathy, Gospelheim, Body Hound, Hidden Mothers and more. Din Of Celestial Birds will play the Thursday of ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol this coming August.
