On this auspicious day of Navarathri, we present the timeless composition “Devi Neeye Thunai” by Papanasam Sivan, rendered soulfully by Soumya Ramakrishnan. This release marks the final day of Navarathri, leading us into the victory and grace of Vijayadashami.
The kriti is set in Adi Talam, praising Goddess Meenakshi of Madurai. Papanasam Sivan’s words celebrate the Divine Mother as the eternal companion, the one who captivates even Lord Sundaresan, and the queen who embodies the essence of Lakshmi, Saraswati, and the nectar-sweet “Muthamizh.”
This rendition is part of our ongoing Peace of Art Project, a creative journey blending music, visuals, and devotion to inspire peace, reflection, and inner strength.
