At 17, I unknowingly broke the world record in deadlift for my age and weight class. What mattered to me at the time, was not the record, rather, learning to believe in myself. Most had written me off and the strongman entered my life and imparted his Avatar philosophy which I still practice and live by today.
Featured is world strong man at the time, Gineaud Dupuis. Forever grateful for his time and teachings at that vulnerable age.
