Through the 45 games De'Aaron Fox played with the Sacramento Kings in the 2024-25 season, he was averaging 25.0 points per game on 46.9% shooting from the field (including 32.2% from 3 on 6.4 attempts per game) and averaging 82.9% from the line on 5.4 attempts.
Something I really appreciate about De'Aaron is that he is strong but he's weaponizes that strength really well. One way that shows up in games is how he initiates the contact with his shoulder (mostly his right) without ever fully lowering it and putting himself at risk of the offensive foul. The core strength and athleticism to be able to dish out a big hit, decelerate and stay under control, and then have enough to finish (which often means putting more force into the ground again), is fun to watch and even better to study.
