The String Thing by FRET12 brings dead guitar strings back to life! In this Halloween special of Addicted to Gear, we're taking a look at one of the strangest and most creative guitar accessories around.
Dead guitar strings are a nightmare! They sound terrible, stab your fingers, and even after you throw them away, they can haunt the planet for years in landfills. But what if you could give those old strings a second life?
The String Thing by FRET12 is a unique, customizable guitar string mummy that transforms your old guitar and bass strings into a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. It's part guitar accessory, part recycling project, and part Halloween horror story!
