here’s a piece I have been playing for years - ravel wrote a dance that is mystical and deserves visuals to accompany the grandeur of it all. i’ve never been able to show anyone what i visualize when i perform it.
i’m a pianist, not a visual artist, so i used @openai to sketch what has been sitting in my head for years. it took 130 generated images just for the first 3 min of this piece. what you’re seeing is just the first time the story in my head existed outside of it - super rough but better than explaining in words, and there is so much more left to be done.
that’s why i’m posting: these sketches got me far enough to see its shape. but now i want a real storyboard artist to take it somewhere that AI and i can’t.
