✈️ About the Aircraft
The Piper PA31-350T Navajo Chieftain is a turbocharged, 8-seat twin-engine aircraft that was a staple of commuter and charter aviation. With a service ceiling of 26,000 ft and a range of 1,024 nm, it punches well above its weight class. This add-on by CIS (JetStream FS) has been developed with input from real PA31 pilots, and it shows — from the moment you step into the cockpit, the attention to detail is immediately apparent.
🛠️ What's In the Box
The CIS Chieftain arrives with a fully modelled cockpit, PBR exterior and interior textures, and a brand-new ACF flight model built specifically for X-Plane 12. The FMOD sound package is one of the highlights — it captures the character of the twin Lycoming engines with real depth. On the avionics side, the aircraft supports Reality XP GNS 530, TDS GTNXi 750/650, and RealSimGear G5 integration, giving you genuine flexibility in how you set up your panel. Rain and ice effects, an engine damage model, a persistence module, and full VR support round out a very complete package.
