The group did not last long, as the almost complete absence of its own musical material did not have the best effect on competitiveness. The team is very similar in its sound to the group "Vanilla Fudge". The similarity between them is also that, like "Vanilla Fudge", "Child" successfully used well-known and popular compositions, changing them into covers, which already had a completely different, psychedelic tinge. So, recorded in 1970 in New York on the label "Select Sound Studios", the only self-titled album includes, among other things, slower versions of the classic songs of the time "Hold On I'm Comin", "You'll Never Walk Alone" , "Ol 'Man River", as well as the instrumental "Exodus". All this is performed very qualitatively and against the background of a very pleasant, pronounced and even sometimes heavier sounding organ.
