Hi everyone! In today's video I am going to bring you along on a complete edit from start to finish using Capture One Pro, Affinity Photo and Color Effects Pro 4. In addition I am going to give you value, by offering 10 specific tips along the way that REALLY have shaped the way I approach editing and has been refined over the past 10 years.
I get asked ALL THE TIME about edits. For years. The truth is, that edits are so subjective and so dependent on the "situation" that this is really a topic that takes a long time to practice and "master". I really want to teach all this stuff, ongoing (as it should be) inside of a paid member platform.. and I intend to launch that soon. So, think of this video as a "preview" of what I can provide.
It's important to also understand that the best tip I can give anyone, in terms of editing.. is to first learn photography and lighting :-) The better the input files are, the better time you will have when sitting in front of the computer. But, even then.. edits are needed no matter what. So grab a drink, sit back and join me as I ramble my way through this edit showing you *exactly* how I go from a RAW file, to a polished image that I then will post to Instagram :-)
