Rob Bell heads to one of North America’s largest ski area as it fires up its lifts for its 60th season. Whistler Blackcomb has become a bucket list destination for skiers so Rob - who used to work as a ‘liftie’ there in his youth - goes behind the scenes to find out what goes into such a mammoth operation. He sees the work of the grooming team, whose job it is to keep the slopes in pristine condition for the skiers, and hears the indigenous reaction to having a giant of tourism arrive on their land.
