How does the Ascent Lite digital HD FPV system work on a sub250g fixed-wing parkflyer?
Pretty good actually, far better than I expected.
At the pre-order price, this system is great value for money. The range is perfectly adequate for this type of application, the setup is super-easy and the results are amazing for the money.
Pros:
- low cost
- great solid video performance
- lightweight VTX
Cons:
- box-goggles are uncomfortable without (easy) mods
- mine has a noisy fan
Conclusion:
Perhaps the best value digital FPV system on the market right now, so long as you don't want high levels of penetration and BVLOS range.
