Cryo Archive is finally starting to feel better in Marathon, but is it enough?
In this video, I discuss the current state of Cryo Archive, Marathon's endgame map, and why I believe it still needs some important changes. While the experience has improved, I think there are still issues that could prevent more casual players and a wider audience from enjoying it.
With Marathon's December update on the horizon, Bungie has an opportunity to bring more players into the game. But if Cryo Archive remains largely the same, will new and returning players have a reason to stick around and experience the endgame?
I want to see Cryo Archive succeed, but I believe Marathon needs to make its endgame more appealing and accessible without losing what makes extraction shooters special.
