Highlights of my glitch run and the glitch FAQ I wrote for Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4). Here’s the GameFAQs link if you want to read it:

This was a ‘glitch-tech run’ where I mainly searched for *ways* to break the game. I’ll then do a regular glitch run where I’ll systematically test these glitch techniques. I didn’t look at what glitches exist in RDR2 before starting my run, to avoid being derivative. If anything here is known feel free to let me know.
10 – Craft state stores Crafting and lets you zip back to where you set up the glitch by toggling camera-modes. The state also breaches collision and Crafting can be triggered during unrelated actions.
34 – Coffee Cup Break-out: This glitch alone has the potential to break the game, given that it is responsible for the Static Saddle glitch which causes so much chaos. The saddle was one of the first things I tried to break-out of using Coffee Cup Break-out—and given there’s an entire game to test with this glitch, I image there’s more surprises to find.
41 – Force Static Saddle into missions: The game normally clears the regular saddle from mission sites when you start a mission. But even some of the game’s loading functions cannot move the Static Saddle. This lets you plant the Static Saddle at an upcoming mission site and mess with it.
56 – Stored Campfire Glitch: Another destructive glitch that teleports Arthur to the campfire during many activities, cutscenes, etc.
55 – Free Shop Items: The stored campfire glitch lets you get items for free from shops and the gunsmith without losing honor or alerting lawmen.
03 – The Buffered Bath Glitch: “Bath State” needs to be tested everywhere.
40 – Store the Stable Camera: You can keep the stable’s camera rig and endlessly switch it between horses and vehicles.
05 – Glitching Campfire Ambushes: There are *so* many ways to glitch just this ambush, including creating an invisible horse and making a horse air-walk. There’s another ambush which I’ve yet to encounter where I theorize that you can do a permanent horse air-walk (one of many ideas I for my next glitch run).
44 – Stored Campfire In Cutscenes: Each mission cutscene trigger is affected differently when starting it with a Stored Campfire.
At 17:05.21 Arthur enters a unique glitch state where some of his inputs didn’t respond like normal.
At 17:53.03 you can force the mission to start even after you’ve destroyed the cart. You can even kill John and glitching this mission gives Arthur immunity from the law. Which is very useful for testing things that normally attract the law.
12 – Near-universal Craft State: The Static Saddle can be jumped off which lets you set up Craft State nearly everywhere. Also, Craft State gives Arthur a forceful run that pushes horses around like they’re made of cardboard, it can destroy objects, and other mysterious effects I’ve yet to test. It also stores Crafting so you can use it during wrong moments.
29 – Store Stables: Craft State’s glitchy walk delays Arthur’s entrance into stables. Then exiting the stable menu before Arthur enters, stores the stable, which you can use to teleport to during wrong moments.
28 – Store Cover: Storing a cover point lets you teleport to it by switching to 1st-person, or slide to it by aiming and moving the camera around. It also lets you walk underwater and up impossibly steep inclines. It’s possible to reach Guarma early but the missions didn’t seem to load there, most testing is needed if it’s to become a skip.
08 – Store Two Coordinates: Store a campfire and then store a cover point, and teleport to them in sequence.
11 – Camera Mode Break-Out: Toggling camera mode during certain actions lets you break-out, reset animations or cancel actions. I showed that doing this while climbing a rock lets you breach it, but I couldn’t get it to work on built structures. This break-out can make Arthur’s arm stretch to the horizon and throw items very far, shoot through walls and breach some collisions. Doing this while wearing a coat also stretches it, and ramming into a tree can make Arthur’s torso become glitched which has some mechanical oddities I’ve yet to test.
57 – Store Horse Items: Aiming with the Lantern or a gun while using a horse item, stores it. Which lets you store additional data with it that lets you glitch prompts and cutscenes (something else to test during my regular glitch run).
35 – You can store ‘Maintain’, Bait and other actions with a stored horse item. Stacking data like this lets you break-out of prompts and other actions. Also, the variety of break-out you get depends on whether you stored ‘maintain’ or bait.
08 – See my RDR2 glitch FAQ (A cheap imitation of David Lynch’s work).
