The high-octane plot follows Shankar (Sunil Dutt in a special appearance), an honest construction union leader fighting the corrupt contractor Ratanlal for workers' safety. Before he can secure justice, Shankar is brutally murdered in a staged workplace accident. The tragedy severely traumatizes his young son Rakesh, who develops a deep psychological block that forces his grieving mother, Parvati (Raakhee), to give him up for his own well-being. The boy is lovingly adopted by a kind couple, Robert (Amjad Khan) and Kathy (Aruna Irani), who rename him Rocky.
Years later, Rocky (Sanjay Dutt) grows into a carefree, motorcycle-riding youth who falls deeply in love with the beautiful Renuka (Tina Munim). However, his perfect life is turned upside down when dark secrets from the past resurface. Rocky discovers his true identity as Rakesh, learns that his biological mother is still alive, and uncovers the shocking truth that his father was cold-bloodedly murdered. Fueled by raw fury and joined by a brave survivor, Lajwanti (Reena Roy), Rocky unleashes an all-out war against the ruthless syndicate to avenge his father's death.
