The story unfolds in the whimsical city of Khwaish, where Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh), an orphan bullied since childhood by Kasim (Sahil Khan), spends a lonely existence. His mundane life sparks into bright color when a beautiful new student named Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) joins his college. In a twist of fate, a prank birthday gift turns out to be a genuine ancient relic—the very magic lamp that cost Aladin's archaeologist parents their lives. Upon rubbing it, he unleashes Genius (Amitabh Bachchan), an eccentric, music-loving genie desperate to grant Aladin three wishes to break his eternal contract.
While Genius hilariously tries to use cosmic powers to help Aladin win Jasmine's heart, a dark shadow falls over Khwaish. The ruthless, power-hungry villain Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt) arrives with his deadly circus gang to reclaim the lamp. Orchestrating a web of lies, Ringmaster strips Genius of his magical abilities and prepares a dark ritual to absorb the reflection of a passing comet—an event that would grant him ultimate power to rewrite the universe. Caught in a magical battle of wits, the mortal Aladin must team up with a powerless Genius to save Jasmine and defeat the supreme king of illusion.
