The first position (OpAmp) uses no diodes allowing for full, grinding Op Amp assault at pure, unadulterated maximum volume.
The second position (Asymm) is the union of two silicon diodes and one LED. A smooth, slightly compressed crunch that echoes the warmth and resonance of a pushed valve amplifier. This delivers a slightly compressed and smooth crunch.
The last position (Symm) is the ancient rite. The classic dual-silicon configuration. A tight, focused, and compressed crush. The foundational tone of the monolith.
